The Washtenaw County/Eastern Michigan University Legal Resource Center is a paralegal program that provides legal assistance for persons unfamiliar with the legal system. It is jointly sponsored by Eastern Michigan University and the government of Washtenaw County, Michigan. The program offers legal assistance to members of the local community, including providing legal forms for common legal disputes such as divorce and custody. Paralegal students, under the supervision of a licensed attorney provide these services with the support of Washtenaw County, who provides physical space for the program in the courthouse.
The program began operating in 2004.
